Sizewell Tea
About This Spot
Tucked comfortably by the windswept shore at Sizewell Gap, Sizewell Tea embodies the kind of unpretentious warmth that quickly settles around you like a familiar blanket. It’s the kind of spot that unfolds at its own gentle rhythm, where the bustle of the nearby beach and footpaths mingles effortlessly with the friendly chatter of locals and visitors alike. Whether you arrive after a morning stroll with your dog or the satisfyingly breathless finish of a parkrun, the pace here both invites pause and feels invitingly familiar.
Ordering happens right through the kiosk's window, a charming touch that keeps the mood casual and unhurried. Nearby, a large covered outdoor seating area welcomes you to linger over a freshly brewed cup of coffee or a cooling ice cream, no matter the coastal breeze. The setting is refreshingly straightforward—no fuss, just a cozy gathering place where the salty air mingles with the aroma of hot chips and frying bacon.
The menu is deeply rooted in comforting British classics, but what stands out is how these dishes feel crafted with care and a nod to simple pleasures. Whether it’s a crispy fish and chips freshly wrapped to enjoy under the sky or a hearty breakfast roll with golden fried potatoes, each bite carries the unspoken promise of a moment taken just for yourself. There’s also thoughtful variety here, from vegetarian options to children’s portions, all served with genuine warmth and attentiveness.
It’s clear Sizewell Tea is as much a part of the local rhythm as the tide itself—a welcome pause where dog walkers, tourists, and longtime locals find common ground over shared meals and easy smiles. The friendliness of the team slips seamlessly into the experience, making it the kind of place you want to return to, whether for a quick bite or a longer catch-up amid the tranquil coastal beauty.

Good food, great value spectacular setting! Great for dog walkers especially with order taken from kiosks window and a large covered outdoor area to sit. Easy to find plenty of parking and great beach walks.

I think the best chips I've ever had! Efficient, very friendly service. Friends had fish, they loved it, I had vegetarian..all very fresh and hot. Highly recommend.

Popped here after a bit of parkrun tourism with some friends, after a recommendation and I'm grateful I did. There was a little queue but it goes to show how good the pace was. Plus no one minds queuing after a parkrun as everyone just wants to talk about running. The staff were friendly and the system in place for service quick and efficient. I'm disappointed in Google for not allowing me to give more than five stars for food. Really tasty and great value for money.

Small cafe ai Sizewell Gap. Some of the best bacon batches I've ever eaten. Nice coffee. Can sit inside or outside. Popular with locals, dog walkers and visiting tourists. Good food.

A great little cafe with friendly staff, food is good and reasonably priced. I use this cafe fairly regularly and is biker friendly, great stop off on Sundays for the obligatory bacon roll with biker mates. Free parking at the moment and the beach/ walks are great for dogs all year.

We were served by a lovely, friendly lady. Fish and chips were good and came with salad and a wedge of lemon. Sat outside as dogs not allowed inside, but there were plenty of picnic benches all with sun shades. There is also a public toilet block with baby changing facilities in the mens and ladies. There is also a disabled toilet and the carpark is a short walk away.
